Confession of Joanna

Here is my apology for all who heard my 'unwholesome' talk last night. After I said that, I regreted already, but my Sin tried to adjust itself with Holy Spirit on my way home. "I have just been cheeky and everyone sees it as a joke." There is no peace in my heart. My God knows me best. When I read the Bible before I went to sleep, He talked to me through Colossians 3:1-17. I had no excuse for my behaviour and no place to hide my sin. My words didn't build up each other and benefit you who heard it. I knew what I said was from my heart, So Proverbs 4 :23 will be the verse guides me in the following days.

I also apologize to Timothy for my rude behaviour in our Bible study group two weeks ago. It's terrible to see myself try to win the conversations and the Bible discussions by my "fine-sounding argument" (Colossians 2:4). I knew I was like a 'resounding gong' made the noise of my own wisdom. So I am sorry.

The last apology is for Jimmy and Derek. I covered myself with the spiritual garment of caring and helping others when I tried to satisfy my own worldly curiosity and habbit of being nosy. It's the Grace of God that He used me to help others before, but I took the God-granted experience as my own strengthen. I wanted to hear the praise from human and hear peolpe say I am useful, I wanted to be somebody and to see people follow me and agree with me and I thought I am somebody. But I am nobody. Now, it's not me live, but Christ Jesus lives in me instead. I knew all the knowledge, but my Sin is always trying to blind me and distract me. I am sorry Jimmy and Derek for my forceful interference in your privacy. I am soooo glad to see you guys are willing to seek God's will first rather than listen to earthly rubbish.

This is my confession to God and apologies to humans. These are my struggles and this is the real Joanna. Now I can feel a bit of the feeling when Paul wrote in Roman 7:24-"What a wretch man I am!" And I thank God that His grace is sufficient for me, for His power is made perfect in weakness. Amen.

Thank you guys, you are all awesome. Thank you grace. The cake is too nice, I still can remember the taste now. Thank you gOD, let me know all group 2 guys, they are so lovely, kind and peaceful. I will keep faithful walking on the light future in Christ.
One more thing, I had a very good quality sleep last night. Thank GoD agian, and thank my prayer partner(tim, shishi), also thank someone who prayed for me.

Hello~~

Its an addition post regarding to "The last event of the year, group 2"..... well as Grace have already said that this might be our last chance for everyone to meet up before we all shoot off to different parts of the world.

Therefore, it will be good if we can share something like,

Q1. What God has done to you so far this year (I know we still got few months to go before we say goodbye to 2007, man I'm just abt to get used to write the date as 07 instead of 06...now we are moving on to 08!!) or

Q2. What's your experience with God over the last few years (if 2007 is your final year in Dunedin) and What is your plan form now and onward? What do you see yourself in 10 years time?

Q3. What was one of the most memorable moment this year? (can be anything, funny/blonde moment, moment touched by God or embarrasses moment)

Q1 and Q2 is "either or" type....pick one of them and Q3 is a "must" for everyone!! :-)

The last event of the year, Group 2

Hi everyone, how are you doing? As you all know that this friday is our last bible study and most of us are going to start or have started exam preparations. We are going to have out last event on this sunday after church service at 1:00pm. I have planned to have a picnic at botany garden, everyone brings a dish whatever you like for lunch. Since Mooncake day is coming up soon, we really thank Maxis's mum, she will send us mooncakes(woo...) For people who cannot cook (Derek, Jimmy,Joanna..),you can just buy pissa or KFC from the shops next to church. We meet at church about 12:30 so we can walk there together. I have noticed that the weather report said it would be raining on sunday, so here is my special prayer request to everyone, pls pray for the weather on sunday. If it rains on sunday we will go to Jimmy's flat instead. I wish all of you can come as this may be the last chance we can all get together some of us will leave Dunedin this year. Could you please write a comment so I can see whos coming, or txt me I love recieving txt^^

hi tommy, so glad to hear you again. we do miss you sometimes, especially me, because I will the oldest one when you left...haha, just kidding)
Congratulations, you got awesome job. kids are always noisy, they can play whole day without stop, but its alright, you can teach them how to control themselves. primary education is really important. Don't worry, god will guide you and we will pray for you.

tell you what, I am doing cleaning job for a primary school. they make messy everyday, lose everything while they are playing, clothes, shoes, bag, lunch box... most nasty job is in the toilet, they pee everywhere and never flush the toilet. I am so tired for this job everyday, lucky, do this job one more week then finish.
one suggest: you must teach kids to flush the toilet after they use.

It was really great; nice game, well organized, lots of fun, and most important thing is to bring me back to eighteen. also thank god give us faith, strength and love each other. we will keep praying for the seed fellowship and new friends. Our group 2 becomes most wonderful team in Christ. If you guys need any help, we will give you a hand at first time.

Well Done, my dear brother!

I was really touched by someone in our group, I have seen how God's hands worked on him over the time. He did a good job as a group leader on Sunday, he has been a good carer of all his group members. I was really impressed when I saw him talking to new friends and having good relationships with them. I can deeply feel how God has changed him, how God has helped him. He was a really shy boy when I first met him, quiet... Now he can approach new friends easily and be quite talkative! I am so amazed and touched by God's work on him, encouraged me a lot. God can indeed change us, help us to be more like Him. When His Holy Spirit with us we are not afraid anymore, we can do the things we could not able to do before only because of Jesus!

This person is Nelson. Keep walking with God and growing in His love. Add oil, my dear brother! Give you lots of hugs.....^^

It's really nice to see most of you showed up this afternoon! Hope you guys had lot of fun and at the same time enjoy the presence of God.

Also two thumbs up for for Chen, thanks for all the hard work that she had put into this!! **Clap Clap** and also thanks to Derek for playing the guitar for us....sorry about the last min notice :-) and to Grace nice work!! To the rest, you guys were awesome, you people had the most tough job!! I always find it hard to make new friends but from what i can see you people did an excellent work!

Now that we had some sort of connection with the new comer, its really important for us to pray for them and pray that God will continue to lead them to our church.

Alrite, my prayer request for this week (man where's Christine?!?! can someone get her to sign up....or else i have no prayer partner this week .....>_<......)

1. pray for people's health (Jeffrey, Wayne, and Lisa).
